AI receptionist
An AI employee that answers your company's phone in Romanian, Hungarian or English, takes messages, routes callers and works to each location's opening hours.
Every call to a company is a small decision: who is this for, how urgent is it, what did the caller actually want. An AI receptionist takes that decision off the people whose work keeps getting interrupted by it.
A day on the phone
Ana answers on the first ring, in the language the caller uses. A supplier asking for the accounts department is put through or, if nobody is free, leaves a message that reaches accounts as an email with the caller’s number and what they need. A customer confirming an appointment for Thursday gets the confirmation and a reminder of the address. A caller who wants a quote for a service the company does not offer is told so politely and pointed to the right place.
At the end of the day the receptionist’s manager gets a summary: how many calls, which ones need a person, which ones were handled.
What stays with people
The receptionist does not decide prices, does not promise delivery dates and does not agree to anything that commits the company. When a caller asks for one of those, Ana says who will come back to them and prepares the message. If the handbook says that complaints go to a named person, every complaint goes there, with the caller’s words as they were said.
Setting it up
Describe the role in your own words, or start from this template. Say which locations it answers for, in which languages, and where each kind of request goes. Connect the phone line and the calendar. For the first weeks the receptionist works on probation: its manager sees every call summary and corrects it in plain words, the way a new colleague would be corrected.

Questions about this role
What happens when a caller asks for something the receptionist cannot do?
It takes a message with the caller's name, number and request, and passes it to the person or team your handbook names for that kind of request. It never promises something on the company's behalf.
Does it work after hours?
Each location sets its opening hours. Outside them the receptionist says when the office opens again, takes a message if the caller wants to leave one, and sends it to the right person for the morning.
Will callers know they are talking to an AI?
Yes. Every AI employee says it is an AI assistant at the start of a call. This is a platform rule that cannot be switched off.
